In Virtue

In order to participate in the Ashengate raids you must:

* Have ally faction with Scholars of Solusek.
* Have ally faction with Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate.
* Have received a character flag upon Vergalid's death in the "Vergalid's End" raid.


When TSS unlocks your group will book it straight to Direwind Cliffs and pick up the first two tasks. One is from Zhubis the Griffin Tamer on the ledge with all the griffins and the other is from Jenray, Envoy of Ro in a tent near the Ashengate entrance. Each npc has a series of three quests you must repeat until ally with their two factions. Everyone in the group MUST request their own tasks.

Zhubis' tasks takes place mainly in the east wing of open world Ashengate and Jenray's are in the west wing. Completing the first in each line unlocks the next and so on. Whichever side is less crowded start there. You will end up doing seven tasks per NPC to reach ally. For a total of 14 tasks per person. You can /con each of the quest givers to check your faction.

You cannot just run the same mission over and over you must do them in order for a total of seven tasks per npc. (ex: Zhubis 1, Zhubis 2, Zhubis 3, Zhubis 1, Zhubis 2, Zhubis 3, Zhubis 1)


Zhubis the Griffon Tamer: Infiltrators of Ashengate Faction

-Zhubis #1: Sabotage- You say, 'What information?'

-Collect 1 sample of Ashen Powder 0/1 - Drops off drakes in East wing.
-Collect 1 Worker's Pouch 0/1 - Drops off drakkin in East wing.
-Collect 1 Magma Infused Crystal 0/1 - These are ground spawns in the ledge room beyond the griffin area of the east wing. They are to the left of the path in the rocky area.

Create the explosives and strategically place them in the Eastern Wing 0/1 - Combine all three items in the satchel he gave you when you requested the task right on top of the spot you picked up the ground spawn. You will plant a bomb there by just being in the right spot, no other actions needed to do so, move away before it explodes. The tasks auto completes here, you get your faction hit and can now request the second solo task from Zhubis.


-Zhubis #2: Project Disarm- You say, 'What information?'

-Destroy 8 Adamantium Drakkin Polearms 0/8
-Destroy 8 Etched Drakkin Longswords 0/8
-Destroy 8 Weighted Drakkin Whips 0/8

All three steps work the same. You can kill Drakkin in the East or North wing for the weapon drops. You get credit just by looting. You can also destroy a rack of weapons or a weapon supply chest and they will give you multiple random updates. So be sure to break any of those you see while killing Drakkin. The task auto completes upon the last update, you get a faction hit and can now request the third task from Zhubris.


-Zhubis #3: The Weakest Link- You say, 'What information?'

Both steps here should count for the entire group upon killing the mobs/eggs. So be sure everyone in the group is on this task and in the zone to save time.

Kill 15 Scarlet Legion Eggtenders - These spawn further in the east wing on the stone pillars. Kill them and be careful not to fall off, lev helps a lot.
Kill 5 Unhatched Griffon Eggs - The eggs are in the same area as the Eggtenders. Kill them.

Inform Zhubis that the deed is done - Hail Zhubris to complete the task and be sure to pick up another task while here.


Jenray, Envoy of Ro: Scholars of Solusek Faction

**NOTE** -- Un-equip your weapons before speaking to Jenray or she will attack you. She gives a large negative faction hit so don't fuck this up.
**NOTE** -- Everyone in the group can preloot 2x Lava Ooze Gland and 2x Solusek Diamond from the oozes/dervishes in this wing for the second task in the series.

-Jenray #1: Children of Flame- You say, 'superiority?'

Hatch four drake eggs - The eggs can be found in the first tower in the west wing. There are two on the ground floor and more higher up - but the repop rate is very fast (30 seconds or so). Equip the incubator in primary or ammo, target the egg, and right click to hatch it.

Capture four baby drakes - A baby drake is hatched when you use the incubator. Target it and right-click the incubator again to capture it. You now have a "Captured Baby Drake" to pop into one of your bags.

Deliver four captured baby drakes to Jenray - Turn the drakes into Jenray and pick up your next solo task.


-Jenray #2: A Daring Rescue- You say, 'superiority?'

Kill 1 Arbiter of Ash 0/1 - The arbiter can be found in the large stone cavern that is almost at the far end of the west wing of Ashengate. Either the named "Arbiter of Ash" or the trash mob "an arbiter of ash" will update this step. This kill should count for everyone in the group so be sure all have the task and are in the zone.

Locate Hidaga and ensure she makes it to safety - Hidaga spawns at Loc 1370, 730, -135. This is at the east end of the bottom of the cavern. She appears when the arbiter dies. Hail her and the task completes. She remains up for an appropriate amount of time, allowing up to 12 hails.

**Note** -- The quickest way out after completing task #2 is to either evac or clear to the end of the west wing and click the zone out Pylon in the final room. You cannot run back the way you came.


-Jenray #3: Under Pressure- You say, 'superiority?'

Collect 1 Lava Ooze Gland - Drops off magma slime in west wing. Prelootable.
Collect 1 Solusek Diamond - Drop off whirling sootshadow and ashen dervish in west wing. Prelootable.
Deliver 1 Lava Ooze Gland to Jenray - Turn the item into Jenray.
Deliver 1 Solusek Diamond to Jenray - Turn the item into Jenray and get your next task if not ally.


After doing both sets of the three tasks and repeating the first task from each a third time you should be ally.
